We are delighted to announce and welcome you to our 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting will take place in September 2017.

This year's venue will be the Elgar Concert Hall and the Great Hall at the University of Birmingham, which has its own railway station for easy access.

We have an interesting and entertaining programme for the day including talks on life threatening situations in Eye Casualty, swollen discs and vitreo-retinal management of trauma, controversies in endophthalmitis treatment and follow up dilemmas. The meeting is recognised for 5 CPD or 5 CET points.

Delegate numbers have grown year on year, so don't delay in enrolling - there are also early bird rates to take advantage of which close on 31/7/17.

Delegates entering the PRESENTATION COMPETITION should click the link to the left. Please note the deadline for submission is 30/6/17.

The BEECS committee look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham.

As in previous years, registration for the meeting also ensures membership of the society for one year for all healthcare practitioners operating in the realms of the NHS. Those practitioners working outside the NHS but who delivery eye care, such as community optometrists, are extremely welcome at the meeting. Due to the principles in our constitution, however, they will not qualify as members.
