British Emergency Eye Care Society

Welcome to BEECS

The Society was founded in 2013 with the aim of bringing together practitioners in the United Kingdom who provide acute ophthalmology services within their institutions.

We run an annual scientific meeting open to all health care professionals involved in emergency eye care.

Our Last Meeting

The BEECS virtual meeting attracted three CPD and 2 CET points. We are providing a self-completing attendance certificate available here.  Ophthalmologists are now encouraged to record their learning and development through self-certification and reflection. Optometrists please contact us with your GOC number. Please note that attendance may be checked against the Zoom register.

We will be making the meeting recording available to those who logged in on the day
