Welcome to BEECS
The Society was founded in 2013 with the aim of bringing together practitioners in the United Kingdom who provide acute ophthalmology services within their institutions.
We run an annual scientific meeting open to all health care professionals involved in emergency eye care.

BEECS would like to commend our emergency eye care colleagues for the work they are carrying out in hospitals and primary care in the UK. Departments have seen a huge reduction in routine ophthalmology work and their trainees redeployed to medical front line services. Read More
